  • Jenna Lovell
    Head Nurse

    Jenna began her employment with Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in October 2007 and progressed to become our head nurse in late 2009. Jenna is currently completing certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is highly interested in critical care and also runs our Weight Loss & Nutrition Clinic.

    She would also love to advance her knowledge and qualifications to one day became a emergency nurse. Jenna thoroughly enjoys working at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital and loves the challenges the job brings.

    Outside of work Jenna loves spending time with her two cats, Angus and Mikki, as well as her two dogs, Ella and Jack who she loves unconditionally. She also enjoys spending time with her partner, Samuel and has a keen eye for fashion.

  • Anna Watt
    Veterinary Nurse

    Anna joined the Alma Street Veterinary Hospital team in 2010, but has been working as a Veterinary Nurse since 2001. She completed her Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing in 2002 and is now in the process of completing her Certificate IV.

    Anna loves all aspects of vet nursing but is especially passionate when it comes to surgical radiology and pathology.

    At home Anna is kept busy with her gorgeous German Shepherd named Jett, a Cattle Dog named Shazza, three cheeky cats, two adorable birds and also some fish.

    In her spare time Anna loves to work in her vege garden as well as camping and spending time with her Fiancé Ian.

     

  • Kimberly Foot
    Veterinary Nurse and Puppy Preschool instructor

    Kimberly started at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital as a Trainee in 2009 while completing year 12 at Rockhampton Grammar School. In 2010 Kimberly became a Full Time employee as a Veterinary Nurse.

    Kimberly has completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently in the process of completing her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing. Kimberly is also our Puppy Preschool instructor and truly enjoys Veterinary Nursing, she is also highly interested in Animal Behavior and Radiography.

    Outside of work Kimberly is a talented soccer player, playing for the Nerimbera Football Club, and enjoys socialising with friends.

  • Renee Hatchman
    Veterinary Nurse

    Renee started working at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital on a casual basis in 2008, working after school and weekends. After completing Year 12 at The Cathedral College in 2010 Renee became a full time employee as a Veterinary Nurse. She is extremely excited about commencing study in June for her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

    Renee has always been passionate about animals and has helped her mum with her pet shop for many years. In her spare time Renee enjoys spending time with her dogs Belle & Mia, Hamish the cat and Ruby the Guinea Pig. Renee also enjoys reading, painting and spending time with her family.

  • Melissa laverty
    Veterinary Nurse

    Melissa started at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in 2010 and thoroughly enjoys her job and working with animals. Melissa is extremely interested in surgery, and is currently completing her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

    Melissa owns a gorgeous two and half year old Staffordshire Terrier named Koa who enjoys going to the beach on weekend and playing in the waves.

  • Meagan Shepherd
    Veterinary Nurse

    Meagan joined the team at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in July 2009 and quickly developed a passion for surgery and patient care. Meagan is currently completing the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

    At home Meagan is kept busy with three gorgeous cats, Zeus, Jasper and Tyra as well as two dogs Bodie and Keeda.

    Outside of work Meagan loves spending time fishing and camping as well as having a keen interest in photography and drawing.

  • Miranda Crane
    Receptionist

    Miranda has been a receptionist with Alma Street Veterinary Hospital since 2008. Miranda has two dogs Diesel & Storm and horse named Greeny. Miranda took some time off to have her son Tyson in 2009 and had her second baby in July 2011.

    Miranda's bubbly personality is a wonderful presence around the hospital and we will look forward to her coming back after completing maternity leave.

  • Chloe Churchill
    Veterinary Nurse

    Chloe started at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in June 2008 as a Veterinary Nurse, and completed the Certificate II in Animal Studies.  Chloe took a short break from Alma Street Veterinary Hospital to work for Ergon Energy and completed her Certificate III in Business Administration.

    Chloe found she missed the animal industry and returned to Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in June 2010 as a receptionist and thoroughly enjoys her job. She is big on being an animal advocate and loves her two pet Bearded Dragons Pickles & Gherkin.

  • Ashley Hunt
    Veterinary Nurse

    Ashley started working at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in September 2010 after moving from Bundaberg. Ashley is currently studying Certificate III in Business Administration. Ashley owns a super cute Himalayan called Rajah who rules the house.

    In her spare time Ashley like to visit her family and spend time with her fiancé.

  • Linda Nicholas
    Receptionist

    Linda started working at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital in September 2010. Linda studied at Longreach Pastoral College and Completed a Certificate III in Agriculture and a diploma in Agricultural Business & Beef Cattle Production. Linda has also completed a Certificate III in Business Administration.

    Linda lives out of town on a farm and owns two horses Honey & Jimbob and two dogs Russell & Stella. When not at work, Linda enjoys spending time with her friends and horse riding.
